Caroline leads the extreme heat and health domains at the Intact Centre.​ She oversees developing guidance that helps people, communities, and organizations reduce risks from extreme weather and climate-warming.
Preparing for Wild Weather: Impacts and solutions for homeowners to build protection and stay safe
This presentation will highlight the challenges of climate warming and extreme weather experienced in Canada to date, and what is projected for the decades to come. In particular, it will focus on the effects of extreme heat and flooding, and offer practical, cost-effective solutions that homeowners and communities can put in place to reduce damage, and protect health and well-being.
